Camels

Camels have a hump on their back which stores fat which can be converted to energy and water. They have thick fur which protects them from the heat and they can also drink large amounts of water quickly when available.

Fennec Foxes

Fennec Foxes have large ears that release excess heat and they also have light colored fur that reflects sunlight. They are active at night when it’s and get most of their water from food.

Rattle Snakes

Rattlesnakes are cold blooded animals so they do not need to produce body heat. They are also active at night and camouflage to blend in with the environment.

Scorpions

Scorpions are nocturnal so they hide during the day. They live in burrows to stay cool and also have very low water requirements.
